August 12th is the birthday of Melody Rae Sullivan: wife of Peter; mother of Annie, John, Matthew, Ben, Mikey, Bo and James; daughter, sister, auntie, cousin and friend to many more.
She remains the epitome of Texas hospitality, creating a beautiful and welcoming home while maintaining an uncanny and admirable peacefulness.
Melody is the best and most gracious cheerleader of her family and wonderfully abundant group of friends, cooking, shuttling and arranging celebrations for everyone in her realm. It's surprising to see that little James has headed off to preschool this year--and I'm sure Melody has bittersweet feelings about that.
Happy Birthday, Melody, and may you have 82 more healthy ones, by the Aunt Joannie Sullivan Law of Longevity Aspiration of 2008.
