February 19th is the birthday of Ella Marie Sullivan: daughter of Bobby and Nicole; sister of Jeremiah, Thomas and Patrick; granddaughter of Darlene and Bob and Celia and Don; Fiance to Charley Ramsay; niece, cousin and friend to scores more.
Ella has graduated with honors from the University of Dallas with a degree in Politics and International Studies. Today she is working as an intern for American Enterprise--a public policy think tank dedicated to defending human dignity, expanding human potential, and building a freer and safer world--in its Initiative on Faith and Public Life. In this role, she will work directly with some of America’s most renowned scholars, economists, political scientists, and foreign policy specialists conducting research on today’s prominent public policy questions.
The latest and most wonderful news in Ella's life is that she and Charley will be wed in Phoenix this June! The wedding mass will take place at St. Gregory's--the Phoenix Sullivans' second home. All ten of Bob and Darlene's children attended school at St. Greg's, as have their local grandchildren. It is the place we've all celebrated various Sullivan family members' sacraments--baptisms, Holy Eucharist, confirmations, weddings and funerals. (Was St. John Mary's ordination held here?)
She is one of our three in our family named Ella, with her Auntie Darlene Ella and her cousin, Jim's Frances Ella.
