February 27th is the birthday of Penelope Antoinette Sullivan: the youngest daughter of Mike and Shelly; sister of Jake, Mia, Seamus, Gus, Sophia and Max; granddaughter of Bob and Darlene and Don and Judy; cousin, niece and friend to many more.
Nelly has the classic look of an eight-year-old girl who is growing into her beautiful toothy grin. She remains a happy, curious kid who goes with the flow and adds a sweetness to everyone's day. Years ago, when she climbed into my lap at the suggestion of reading a book together, my heart melted and I would've given her anything she wanted at that point. Still will, in fact.
