Happy Birthday, Andy!

Dear Hearts,
Andy overlooking Horseshoe Bend
in Page, Arizona.

July 2nd is the birthday of Andrew William Bornhop: son of Rod Sr. and Mary Louise; brother of Barbara, Gretchen, Mary, Rodney and Rosie; husband of me (the luckiest girl in the world); father of John, Andrew and Thomas; nephew, cousin, in-law, uncle and friend to scores more lucky folks.

Professionally, Andy is a top-rate professional writer and editor. He continues to work from home writing expert car reviews for Kelley Blue Book, but really looks forward to September when the powers-that-be expect the office to open again. He misses the camaraderie of a staff and the face-to-face conversations with coworkers. Fingers crossed.

Personally, his interests are varied and fascinating. His breadth of knowledge is amazing, which makes him a terrific trivia partner. Andy's sincere interest and curiosity always makes for wonderful conversations, and his sense of humor is icing on the cake! I don't think anyone has made me laugh harder with just a few words. Andy can talk with just about anyone about international affairs, gardening, airplanes, sports, the stock market, cars, motorcycles, lawn mowers, music, travel, the Oxford comma, history, and on and on. He's also the best travel agent and touring partner in the West.

An A+ adventure planned by Andy--
riding e-bikes up Zion Canyon!

Since the day I met him, he has inspired me with his faithfulness, work ethic and humility. I'm lucky to spend my life with him and am grateful that our three sons hold him as an example of a good Catholic man.

Happy Birthday, Andy-roo, and may you have 67 more healthy ones, by the Aunt Joannie Sullivan Law of Longevity Aspiration of 2008.

God bless us and save us and keep us from harm.

I love you, Patty
