July 6th is the birthday of Luke Sullivan Merwin: son of Mary Fran and Gary; brother of Joe, Kate and Maggie; uncle of Elianah, Ava, Henry, Francesca and Inez; nephew, cousin and friend to scores more folks. I am amazed at how much he looks like his mom these days!
Luke is one of the happiest, funniest people I know--unfailingly cheerful in all weathers, and loyal as the day is long. The pandemic was tough on his employment, like many folks, but Luke has bounced back and found a new path. These days he is working for Wells Fargo in the loan department and has already received a promotion.
He is an extraordinary brother, uncle and friend, always showing up--literally and figuratively. He babysits for (children and dogs,) plays with, listens to and entertains his family at every opportunity. All of our lives are more colorful, robust, hilarious and wonderful with Luke in them.
Happy Birthday, Luke, and may you have 83 more healthy ones, by the Aunt Joannie Sullivan Law of Longevity Aspiration of 2008.
