January 8 is the birthday of Jiyoon Yu Sullivan: daughter of Chang Jin Yu and Jeong Hee Han; sister of Paul, auntie of Caleb; wife of Jerry, in-law and friend to scores more lucky folks. She is Jane to all of us and we are so happy to welcome her to the family and this Dear Hearts tradition.
Jane has a peaceful presence accompanied by a sharp wit and humble spirit. This woman is smart and talented, but she will never tell you that. She says she's works as a financial writer, but her title is Vice President of Wealth Management Global Investment Office at Morgan Stanley in Manhattan, NY. A photo of her has been blown up and displayed on one of the enormous video boards at Time Square!
Her interests outside of work are quite diverse. A few years ago, for the heck of it, Jane entered a closed caption writing competition (Korean/English) and won. Her faith is inspiring and her generosity and kindness inspirational. And she is a world traveler.
So, happy birthday, Jane, you have 88 more healthy ones, by the Aunt Joannie Sullivan Law of Longevity Aspiration of 2008.
