July 8th is the birthday of Stephanie Falconer Sullivan: daughter of Robert and Jill Falconer; wife of Paul; mother of Hannah, Jack, Emma, Liam, Callum and Ewan; sister, cousin, aunt, niece and friend to many more lucky folks. Stephanie hails from Thurso, Highland, the most northerly town on the British mainland and a beautiful place.
In March, our sweet Stephanie received her U.S. Citizenship! We are all so proud of her achievement! Covid restrictions kept her fans away (can you imagine the revelers that would've shown up for that event?) but Ella and family made sure Stephanie received a warm patriotic welcome when she returned home.
Stephanie is a loving, faithful, hard-working, creative and hilarious woman who is wise beyond her years. Her talents are diverse, from experienced horsewoman, to terrific photographer, gifted writer and expert sports fan.
Joker is her horse companion but Stephanie is working with other steeds as a volunteer in a few wonderful efforts. Recently, she worked with Horses Help, a therapeutic riding facility. Stephanie served as a side walker for the first honorary cowboy rider in a re-enactment of the Pony Express! She is also spending time with other horses as she learns the Liberty training method, where the horses are trained without halters or rope, and often in an open environment.
Happy Birthday, Stephanie, and may you have 79 more healthy ones, by the Aunt Joannie Sullivan Law of Longevity Aspiration of 2008.
